Ahead of their forthcoming album Are You Happy, ? - Mieux are happy looping away in this latest vid. The credits reveal a lot of it is the brainchild of one person. Props to him.  Of course the answer is that a lot of us aren't happy because we don't know how to make others happy, the first foundation stone of being happy at all.

So the next Q is: does making this album make Viennese band Mieux happy?  The answer lies in what effect is has on you.

Music Lift? The Campaign Against Living Miserably

#MANDOWN2012  A benefit gig for supporters of adults with depression, these bands hit the Scala, King's X,  Friday 31st August 2012. The gig, named Man Down is in support of CALM (www.thecalmzone.net).

Who are they?  Well Two Wounded Birds's self-titled debut album released in June to great critical accalim. Music mag giants NME Magazine gave the album 8/10, and Q Magazine gave it 4/5. Could they be right? Check it out and join an invariably empathetic crowd.

Do Not Fear the Paper Tiger....

Launching December with a live session in the studio, Free Lab Radio brings you a piece of the minds behind Paper Tiger. An emerging 8 piece band from Leeds, they perform live dance music in a riotous yet sumptuous assemblage featuring saxophone, electronics and skanking vocals.

After their gig at the newly opened Floripa in Old Street with Wah Wah 45s, they brought a lap top, pedal, fader box and midi pad down to our radio station.

This Resonancefm live studio session includes an interview with Greg Surmacz (previously of Czar Muggers and Gentleman's Dub Club, check out his intriguing sax looping session here) and lyricist Raphael Attar with Fari B.
