Since it's adulthood in the 90s, Drum 'n Bass had a lot of children. One was Neurofunk who later produced Neurostep via Techstep...so goes the ever-expanding family tree of musical genres which constantly redefines itself. Who wouldn't prefer to be at the root where the creativity starts rather than at the other, where cataloging has to happen!
So after two weeks in Lebanon, a country in which cultural terrorism is carefully monitored by some (and not wrongly,when they've such good stuff to preserve -i.e. dabke, Palestinian revolutionary music and so on) we're letting loose back here in the UK.
Good ole blighty, we've little care to preserve music forms as part of our everyday life, thus little boundaries.
